Bird Taxidermy |
Los Gauchos Outfitters is the only hunting outfitter in Argentina and Uruguay that offers an "in-house" turnkey service for waterfowl taxidermy. We are capable of shipping as many trophies you wish to take home with you. You simply hand us the bird you wish to mount—select the position from our book—and we will tag it, freeze it, and store it until the end of our hunting season. We then transport all birds back to the USA at once, dramatically lowering the transportation and shipping cost—not to mention the lengthy paperwork process, and waiting around on government agencies in the airports that can result in a missed connection.
All of our lodges have a taxidermy guide featuring all of the available mounts and positions that you can choose from (jumping, sitting, pairs mounted on driftwood, etc.)
The following charges will apply:
Service charge for shipping to the USA: $50 per bird
Taxidermy: $350 per Argentina ducks, $350 Uruguay ducks $500 per Argentina geese Our waterfowl taxidermists here is the USA have mounted more South American ducks than any others. Please contact us for references that had their birds done last year—you will find nothing but smiling faces.
Shipping costs from the taxidermist to you:
Between $25 and $100 depending on type of mount (flying geese can’t be sent UPS, they have to be shipped by special courier and cost more—inquire for an estimate).
Payment Policy:
A $100 deposit per bird, and the $50 international service charge, (payable by cash or check) is required before your departure from South America.
Once you return to the USA, you will be contacted by the taxidermist (once he receives your bird(s) to pay the rest of the balance, which you may pay on your credit card. |
